Trying your best is the most important

“God creates us to compete. He creates us to win. It matters. But you've got no chance if you don't do your best.” – Dabo Swinney
You cannot determine the outcome of something on which you work; you can only try your best to achieve a favorable outcome. Being a table tennis player, I always follow one fundamental mantra; Play at the merit of the ball and not under the pressure of the scoreboard. This mantra might look very simple, but if this is applied in life, the problem of stress would no longer exist. An exam is just like a game of table tennis. When the ball is in your court; you hit it in the best possible way and return it the ball to the opponent’s side. The same is the case with an exam you take; the time you get to prepare is the same as when the ball is in your court. The thing that matters is how you utilize this time, prepare well and appear in the exam which determines your sense of responsibility. If you give your best to something and still don't achieve the desired outcome, then always keep reminding yourself that you had given your best, but there are loads to improve. even in a game of table tennis; if the opponent is better than you, all you can do is give your best and improve in the future.

Suppose you had an exam to take, could you have done something about it? Yes, you could have prepared for it. Had you prepared for it to the best of your ability? If yes, then why worry.
“Result is just a number. You will get many more chances to prove your caliber. Keep moving.” – S.K.Das
