THE ART OF FORGIVENESS

THE ART OF FORGIVENESS.
-HANUMAT SHARMA

“An eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind.” ― Mahatma Gandhi

If revenge is the best alternative for everything, then the existence of mankind is impossible. It is necessary for one to understand the importance and positive effects of the act of forgiveness. Forgiveness is just like one’s goals. If one works hard to achieve his goals, the result is satisfactory; the same way if someone works hard in forgiving someone it not only satisfies you, but purifies your soul. In this world of possibilities, it is possible that sometimes even the most coolheaded ones get angry at something, that doesn’t mean that their basic nature is the same. Circumstances make people do some things which they don’t intend to. The purest minds are the ones who try to understand the condition under which a person has done a mistake.

The major thing which is to be kept in mind while forgiving someone is that even if the person is not willing to accept his/her mistake then also remember that everyone deserves a chance and one should always be ready to give a chance rather than retaliate. in scenarios like these, sometimes you just have to let go and forgive the other person just for the betterment and peace of your own soul.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Mistakes cannot drive out Mistakes; only Forgiveness can do that. – Martin Luther King Jr

Accept Criticism with Poise

Accept Criticism with poise -Hanumat Sharma Criticism is imperative.   One can’t let anything and everything get into one’s head and shatter the peace of mind. The world today has developed a notion that vindictiveness is the solution to lock stock and barrel. Is it? The prowess of remaining ever-beaming and positive towards the ones who thrive on your weakness is not only an answer but your subtle win. Moreover, they are the ones who place a mirror in front of you, a mirror which reflects all your weaknesses. To accept criticism objectively can only be achieved by a person who has a modest amount of patience and composure. Another response to these people should not be antagonistic but it should be empathetic. Never presume what somebody tells you is irrational or wrong. Respect other’s...

Trying your Best is the Most Important

Trying your best is the most important -Hanumat Sharma “God creates us to compete. He creates us to win. It matters. But you've got no chance if you don't do your best.” – Dabo Swinney You cannot determine the outcome of something on which you work; you can only try your best to achieve a favorable outcome. Being a table tennis player, I always follow one fundamental mantra; Play at the merit of the ball and not under the pressure of the scoreboard. This mantra might look very simple, but if this is applied in life, the problem of stress would no longer exist. An exam is just like a game of table tennis. When the ball is in your court; you hit it in the best possible way and return it the ball to the opponent’s side. The same is the case with an exam you take; the time you get to prepare is the same as when the ball is in your court. The thing that matters is how you utilize this time, prepare well and appear in the exam which determines your sense of responsibil...
