THE ART OF
FORGIVENESS.
-HANUMAT SHARMA
“An eye for an eye
will only make the whole world blind.” ― Mahatma Gandhi
If revenge is the best alternative
for everything, then the existence of mankind is impossible. It is necessary for
one to understand the importance and positive effects of the act of
forgiveness. Forgiveness is just like one’s goals. If one works hard to achieve
his goals, the result is satisfactory; the same way if someone works hard in forgiving
someone it not only satisfies you, but purifies your soul. In this world of
possibilities, it is possible that sometimes even the most coolheaded ones get
angry at something, that doesn’t mean that their basic nature is the same. Circumstances
make people do some things which they don’t intend to. The purest minds are the
ones who try to understand the condition under which a person has done a
mistake.
The major thing which is to be kept in mind
while forgiving someone is that even if the person is not willing to accept his/her mistake then also remember that everyone deserves a chance and one should
always be ready to give a chance rather than retaliate. in scenarios like these, sometimes you just have to let go and forgive the other person just for the betterment and peace of your own soul.
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Mistakes
cannot drive out Mistakes; only Forgiveness can do that.”
